Ted Opderbeck
Director of Engagement
With 29 years of experience as a educator, coach, and advisor in the social studies department at Waldwick High School, Ted has dedicated his career to helping students grow as thoughtful, informed, and engaged citizens. He is passionate about guiding young people to think critically, lead with empathy, and take meaningful action. Having just retired from teaching, Ted has transitioned from a TEEEM Teacher Advisor to our Director of Engagement, where he is eager to further connect students to global humanitarian efforts that deepen their understanding and impact.
